Laser Hair-Thickening Treatment
Laser hair-thickening treatment is a natural way to thicken hair as opposed to hair transplants and medications. Low-level lasers have been used to treat hair loss successfully in Europe for more than 10 years. However, this is relatively new technology for the United States in 2009.-

Low-level laser therapy is based on photobiotherapy, which is when low-level laser light is used on cells to stimulate their metabolism and increase blood flow. This is because low-level lasers, also known as cold lasers, don't have the capability of burning or cutting through tissue like regular thermal lasers. This procedure was first used on diabetic patients with ulcers who have insufficient blood circulation. Through treatment, doctors found that blood flow was improved. They also realized that body hair in the area where the laser beams were directed grew longer and thicker in comparison to the rest of the body hair. Subsequently, this treatment was used to treat hair loss, with positive results.
Clinical studies have proven laser treatment to be effective. Richard A. Bergmeiser is a doctor who works at the Perfect Skin Laser Center in Phoenix, Ariz. He did a study on 10 patients who suffer from hair loss. All 10 patients had positive results after treatment.
Treatment consists of 15- to 20-minute sessions with a laser twice a week with a minimum of 28 sessions. The treatment is painless and the lasers are harmless. You can look directly at the lasers without any risk of harming your eyes. You should start seeing significant results in three to six months. However, there is no guarantee that the treatment will work for you. Nevertheless, many people have had success with this treatment.
