Chemical peels are used to improve the texture of one's skin. A chemical solution is applied to the skin, and it dissolves a layer of the skin. It appears as if the face is blistered, while the skin begins to peel off. There are many types of chemical peels with different types of solutions. They help mostly to remove wrinkles but can also get rid of blemishes and scarring.
