What is a mo doctor?

A doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO) is a physician who has graduated from a college of osteopathic medicine and has a license to practice medicine in the United States. DOs receive the same training as MDs, but they also receive additional training in osteopathic manipulative medicine (OMM). OMM is a hands-on technique that uses the muscles, joints, and bones of the body to treat a variety of conditions. DOs are licensed to practice medicine in all 50 states, and they are considered to be primary care physicians. They may also practice in specialties such as surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, and emergency medicine.
