Can a gastric endoscopy detect choledocholithiasis?

A Gastric Endoscopy is a procedure that uses a long flexible tube with a camera at the end to examine the lining of the esophagus, stomach, and upper part of the small intestine. It cannot be used to detect Choledocholithiasis. Choledocholithiasis is the presence of gallstones in the bile duct. It can be detected using various imaging techniques such as abdominal ultrasound, magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), or endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
