Does having a particle hysterectomy get rid of endomentrosis?

A partial hysterectomy, which removes the uterus but leaves the cervix in place, does not treat endometriosis. Endometriosis is a condition in which endometrial tissue grows outside of the uterus. A total hysterectomy, which removes the uterus and the cervix, may be an effective treatment for endometriosis, but it is not a cure. Even after a hysterectomy, some women may still experience endometriosis symptoms.
