Is a knee replacement considered disability?
Knee replacements and other joint replacements may qualify as a disability if severe symptoms of pain exist during your normal daily activities at home at work. You must apply or total knee replacement. You must provide medical evidence (e.g., your medical records detailing knee symptoms and medical test results such as MRIs, x-rays or operative note), as well as any work related reports that show your difficulties due to knee pain on your jobs tasks.
