How long does surgical spirit last?

Surgical spirit will have an indefinite shelf life unless contaminated. However most will have a use by date printed on the bottle, generally about 2 years after manufacture depending on the manufacturer and storage conditions. Surgical spirit may become weaker gradually and evaporate if not kept sealed.
