I had my appendix taken out through Laparoscopy keyhole surgery but have the bigger scar on left side Why is this?

The appendix is normally located in the lower right side of the abdomen, and most doctors are right-handed, making Laparoscopic techniques on the left-side are much harder on surgeons and they must switch hands. Most right-handed doctors choose their right hand dominant (making your left side of the scar bigger), while some doctors may prefer being left-hand dominant in which case the opposite would normally apply (dominant or bigger scar left).
