Keep a pillow or other soft method of support nearby.

Place the pillow against the stomach when you feel a sneeze coming on.

Press the pillow against the stomach gently as you sneeze to provide support.

Use your hands to gently press down against your stomach while sneezing if no pillow is available.

Try to prevent allergies or irritation that cause sneezing while recovering. Gently rinse your mouth with mouthwash or gargle to remove irritants from the mouth. Speak with your doctor about taking over-the-counter allergy medication while recovering.
