How to Narrow a Wide Nose
Getting plastic surgery has become so common that its stigma is not only gone, but it has become as accepted (and almost expected) as going to the dentist. Rhinoplasty, also known as a nose job, remains one of the most popular forms of plastic surgery, but it still comes with the pain and recovery of any major surgery. While you may consider undergoing this procedure, here are some tips in what you can do with cosmetics alone and what you should know if you do decide to undergo surgery.Things You'll Need
- Bronzer
- Highlighter
- Two thin make brushes
- Eye Makeup
- Lipstick
- Plastic surgeon (if you choose surgery)

How to Narrow a Wide Nose

1
Try contouring with a bronzer and a highlighter. First, apply the highlighter down the bridge of your nose, from eye-level down to the tip. Use a thin makeup brush to blend it in thoroughly.

2
Apply the bronzer on both sides of your nose bridge, again from eye-level down to the tip. Follow the shape of your nose. For example, if the bottom of your nose is wider, the bronzer will result in a v-shape. Use a thin makeup brush to blend it in thoroughly.

3
Focus on your eyes and lips to draw away further attention from your nose. Use a shadow and mascara that will bring out your eye color, and a lipstick that enhances your lips, but avoid anything too loud.

if you do opt for surgery, make sure you explain to your surgeon why you are unhappy with your nose. Note that depending on where your nose is too wide, a variety of techniques might be undertaken. For instance, if the top of your nose is too wide, then osteotomies (as in actually shattering the bones in your nose) will most likely be performed. If the tip is too wide, then realignment of the nose's cartilage may be done. And if like most people, it is the middle of your nose that is too wide, then several techniques may be used.
